The Depopulation Agenda

There's a suspicion of the overpopulation narrative that has crept in from the conspiratorial fringe and become mainstream. It says eugenics has been an essential part of the elite agenda from the start. They want control over who breeds, who they breed with and how often they breed.

That's somewhat ironic, given the huge overlap between this genre of conspiracy theory and the Great Replacement/White Genocide paranoia, adherents to which are on the whole pretty keen on eugenics.

It's easy to estimate current depopulation by observing the ratio of Joe Schmoes:celebrities (the latter stays constant as they are given placebo vax): I saw a terrifying two slebs within an hour yesterday (the nerdy guy from Big Brother and Lembit Opik), suggesting that the population of London has decreased by 500,000 since last week, during which I had only seen someone who resembled Alan Yentob and that was on TV.

I don't understand opposition to the concept that the Earth is a finite system and that all population growth is unsustainable in the long run. We're already testing the limits of the ecosystem to support the population we have.

What's the alternative proposition? Unlimited growth forever, or rather, until ecosystem collapse forces a natural correction?

i dont think you have to reject the concept of earth as a finite system to be suspicious of the elite's depopulation agenda.

hard to say isn't it. beleif is a very tricky thing and not at all consistent. but i certainly beleive it for the purposes of this conversation.

Well one way it's not consistent is the weird conjunction of the anti-vaxx movement with belief in a depop agenda. The two main reasons the global population exploded so much over the last century are antibiotics and vaccines. So if you were an evil centibillionaire mastermind intent on "sterilizing Africa", you would be intent on shutting off vaccine supplies to Africa, not supplying them.

I saw Lembit Opik on a bike round the back of Kings Cross once, down by Euston Square. We were getting lunch and one of the lads on the job shouted oi oi cheeky to him, but he ignored us

A large number of people pretty clearly have a literal belief in what I've just described.
