Edmund Davie's cult classic LIGHTS is being reissued. the first edition unfortunately was printed by a theiving skaghead who refused to
pay Edmund any of the proceeds from the sales so luckily you didn't buy that one and can buy this one instead
which is better designed, has no typos, is printed on nicer paper and published by a nicer man

NOT a legend.

here's what leading dissensus posters have had to say about this book.

"much better by far than iain sinclair who is rubbish these days" - @martin

"i wish i could write a book as good as this but i can't" - @IdleRich

"it's my best book i took it on holiday." - @catalog

"it's alright" - @version

You could have just asked me and I would have happily given a much more effusive quote that would have also had the important advantage of being real.

It is too late I'm afraid... you've abused my good name (the only thing I have*) and now my trust is broken.

*except flats and a car and some records, a sofa, loads of spoons and knives and stuff like that and some bedclothes and also a bed to put them on. Some books. Er. A laptop a phone. Clothes. I have squash rackets and balls, I guess I got a bit of food... right now I have a bit of crack which will soon be gone. But really the only thing I truly value is my name and money come to think of it.

Dont worry I'll write you a glowing fake quote and tell you my name is rich,
since his good name is now so iiredeemably smirched he wont even mind probably

I have sort of painted myself into a corner there.
Luckily I was joking. I would happily give an endorsement, in fact I feel somewhat invested in the book having seen the birthing pains. And also, I guess, having been the link between Woops and the person who became some sort of evil reverse midwife to the book (if I continue that analogy).
