think I've mentioned it before but my 65-year old sister is a retired elementary school teacher who never needed a computer for work and always been too cheap to spring for a computer and internet connection, so she has never once been online. the only person I know who has absolutely no internet profile, entirely untracked digitally (doesn't have a cell phone either). no email address, web browsing history, amazon purchase, etc.

I'm almost a bit envious.

I guess it's quite common for people to be jealous of their younger sister.

You could place one pixel every five minutes. Apparently it just ended, and will happen again in five years. This is some proper internet-era folklore. It seems to have been the rage of reddit this week, with legions of subreddits racing to stake their claim.

Have there been any other artworks out there that the whole digitally-enabled world has been able to contribute to?

Britain is like the crying child having a meltdown on the plane of life level of “wtf next?”. Limp through to new year before another scandal hits and GE? Vote of no confidence if winter of discontent deepens?

You wake up fresh at least knackered anyway and you throw yourself into the day’s responsibilities and even if you ignore the news wholesale and wholeheartedly you still get secondary source grazes. You can dust it off most of the time but post Covid this period and its added surrealist glow of black light is something else
