Decent house/electronic remixes of major label singles

How many exist?

I'm browsing through Janet Jackson's back catalogue and there's all these fairly underwhelming remixes by Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Armand Van Helden...

Must have been so much money in this back in the 90s esp. but how many actually great choons came out of it?

This could be the sort of thing I'm looking for but will obviously ruin the thread if it covers everything

Probably a lot of stuff on this won't meet the exacting standards of dissensoids though so it's no biggy

This was a great blend into Needin U in the 051 2nd room, could really ride out an mdma build into the Morales phased drop for about 3 minutes

I turned my back on a lot of this when I moved down south in my early 20s, assuming that the grittiness was credibility, but ultimately there is a lot to be said for the gloss and freedom of the early 2000s house sound, I think it has aged far better than the moody bassline gear of my mid 20s.

This reminds me mostly of Society on a Thursday night, i was working in Wade Smith at the time and never worked Fridays as I was always on a Saturday shift. So half a tablet and the mixed/gay crowd, this was a good one. I also associate it in my head with Alan Braxe- Intro, though that was much more of an anthem at Barcelona bar than Society. They're both gone now

There's a truly stunning Latin freestyle mix of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", complete with seagulls and splashing sound effects, that I sadly can't find online anywhere.

posting some of those latin freestyle mixes almost feels like cheating

^ admittedly far from what's probably the thread's intended spirit. the sci fi attack of hip hop not the seductive beckoning hand of house.
