i loved it. its prob my fave of hers. i saw it ages ago so prob forgetting stuff, but i found it to not really be about the characters exactly, more about the heat of the atmosphere (its interesting that she gets so much praise for making films about colonisation when her films on that are all about the colonisers, which is still interesting ofc, and i prefer WM to a borefest like Zama which critics also adored, but its very much a film empathising with the loss of power). her films always have some kind of leaps and absences, sometimes it matters, sometimes it doesnt. shes not really good at narrative (trouble every day is kind of weedy on this front), or at least that is not her real interest i dont think.
