some people are better suited -- and more effective -- to be outside forces who push a certain agenda, as opposed to being the actual person in charge.
Yeah absolutely. Though some recognise that in advance and some find out the hard way. In fairness to Corbyn though, they didn't make it easy on him.

I always wonder what they cut heroin with. It seems to me that if you were selling cocaine and wanted to step on it there are countless white powders you could mix into it that would do the job of cheaply diluting it and look roughly right to the typical punter trying to quickly snort it in the bogs before the bouncer busts in. But, if I somehow found myself in the same situation but with heroin, I would have no idea of what you could add to it that would look right and which would also melt at the right temperature and run in the right way. It's something I always kinda lazily wonder... but never quite enough to actually google it. To be clear that's definitely not my brown whale.

smack is about the cut, always, atypical dilutions are added yet people are constantly searching for the raw, uncut gear, which doesn’t really exist today

had a client this morning, first morning one to one, bloke was selling tiny deals (gram or eighths to a couple to other addicts he knew, very small scale) leaving higher % of purity for himself, eg his personal % has been 40% but he sold wraps for 9-10%

compare this profile to 90+% charles, something has changed upstream with both sets of compounds, coke is beyond relatively available and might be easier and quicker to score than, say, fresh vegetables here

But do these things all run at the right temperature? I've often heard people say caffeine is used and makes total sense to me cos of that totally counter-intuitive effect you so often see "Why is that guy so fucking hyper?" "oh he's smoking smack".

I always wonder if there is actual brown sugar in there. There are these caramel mousse type things that I used to buy sometimes when I lived in London and when you eat them the taste is really strangely similar to how I've heard heroin tastes.

brick dust ground down is an old one, hence never injecting or smoking, especially in today’s ffffff, fffffff, f-f-f-f-ffffffffentanyl monsterscape

Yeah, asking for a friend - one who don't drink or steal or cheat or lie, his name's codeine, he's the nicest thing I've seen.

He does draw for Bang Bang Lover... cheers for that. I have a number of things that I need to check out over this weekend, including your short film and a mix from some guy here in Lisbon. Wonder if I can work through these things while I'm working on the door at this party tomorrow. Tonight I've got to go and help them set up apparently which I didn't know I was signing up for. Oh well, guess it's good to help out really.

That does seem one of the cooler things you can do as an incredibly wealthy person, finance outlandish expeditions in pursuit of lost treasures.
Enough money to take up the search for Atlantis as a hobby.

It's the big story atm but I haven't been particularly invested. I'm sure Netflix are salivating at the prospect of another documentary series.
