I imagine they see it as slightly cheeky, possibly titillating naughtiness. I do find it interesting that this still exists when so much more is easily available. I think it's related to what I was saying in the Apple Music Thread about how you need things to be forbidden for them to be thrllling.

Well isn't this cos you're allowed to say anything you like now, no need to ask for a hotdog for your roll, just call it Ram Your Dong In My Cunt and you'll be good. As always there is a tension between the increased possibilities of relaxed rules, and the fact that allowing absolutely anything removes the need for subtlety and also arguably a lack of illicitness can remove thrills.

These videos feel like an attempt to put some rules back in it. It also feels quite sort of post-modern or something cos you gotta know that outside of these small artifiicial worlds the rules don't exist at all. But maybe you can forget that for a bit. Same as a rockabilly or northern souler or whatever gettting caught up in the music enough to momentarily imagine it's 1955 or 1978 or whenever you choose it to be.

its one thing that is incredibly normal in south asia isn't it, well maybe other places as well i don't know, but the combination of industrial products and materials and the fact that your average geezer is outrageously good with his hands leads to quite a particular and modern relationship between man, machine and materials

you can call it porn, clearly its designed to titillate, but there's more going on than that. becasue there is no nudity it's a kind of blueballed or 'friendzone' porn in which intimacy is granted but no nudity or touching.

i agree it's a sort of softcore thing. knowing winks. like the carry on of now. sort of makes total sense that there's a space for this, because of the total colonisation of porn.
