Friend of mine recently moved to CDMX, and says he hears those trucks meandering through his neighborhood constantly. IM SO JELOUS!

They used to wake me up... still a million times better than the bread van in my local village who just holds down her horn as she drives up and down the high street at some obscenely early time (about 11.30) every day.

You know what? I've never tried it. Seems an odd set up all round really cos there are like twenty other places to buy bread on this street, at any time of day. I suppose that does sort of imply it's really good (or cheap maybe) cos I can't see why else you would wait for it... but when I've walked past it always looks fairly average as far as I can tell.
