British vernacular of recent vintage

I noticed people using 'weapon' to mean an idiot a few years ago, but seems to have disappeared again.

I discovered the kids round here using 'brexit' as an adjective a while ago. A senselessly brutal tackle during sports? A brexit tackle. Vicious sucker punch to the head? Got brexited.

These are not political people so its curious how it got into the vernacular.
A friend of mine was at an open air pub affair a while back for one of the big games (not the World cup, maybe the Euros?) and apparently one of a very loud group of guys shouted "Brexit means Brexit!" at a particularly emphatic moment.

Ah well it turns out (according to Internet) that "rock up" has a particular meaning:

"To turn up at a place or function spontaneously or unexpectedly, without notice or prior warning"

Which sort of fits my sense of it having this vibe of insouciance and irreverence. Edging into gatecrashing.

In the vicinity of ideas like the ligger (a word no one uses these days, I don't think - the rock industry used to be rife with this sort of freeloader).

Or blagging your way into things.

Usually when prefaced with 'absolute'. 'Absolute whopper' is another one.

Then there's 'absolute unit', but that means any very large person or thing, without necessarily any pejorative connotation.

When you say “round here” do you mean in your house?
