Analord Revisited

well i didnt pay any attention to the analord series as they were coming out - the release scheme seemed gimmicky & it was a period when i wasnt interested in any kind of techno...anyway now i love the stuff. its like a collection of sketches - it works on that level - like some madlib stuff, or some of dilla's last work.

(I'd love to know if there's something I've overlooked)

id say:

klop job
phontacid
pitcard
afx acid 04
home made polysynth
halibut acid

ether

remember reading an interview with coldcut a few years back, and them saying how AFX was trying to buy up alot of the analouge gear he didnt own or had flogged off, they where saying when everyone was getting deep into digital signal processing he had already moved on, probably wanting to break convension rather than a nostalgia trip.
