does anyone remember a blogger who i think was on here at one point, and he made a post which was like this cry for help. i think he was canadian and he got involved with some shady guys, was doing crack all night with them or something and then something bad happened, or he got shit up and wrote it all out like a police confession? i remember reading that one a few times.

I have a dim recollection of that post for some reason but I don't really know anything about the guy and I didn't even know that he had a blog. I think, if I'm thinking of the right guy and I'm not getting confused, that Luka said he is dead but I dunno where that information came from.

Yeah he did a blog called Love Ecstacy Crime (which were chapter headings in a Camatte pamphlet iirc).

I think the cry for help was on the blog and not here?

He was good, a unique voice. “Burned twice as bright” of course.

Yeah it was on the blog, I think someone posted it on here or a link to it, something like that.

That was Rob C, who did LoveEcstasyCrime. IIRC, he smoked crack with some anarcho-crusty scumbags, who were sweet-talking him as potential friends, and then they put pressure on him to nick stuff from the store he was working at (on probation) or they'd knife him/grass him to the cops. He was homeless at the time and crashing around friends' flats / staying in shelters, but the people who ran the social services would deny him access at midnight because he'd had a few drinks before turning up. So he spent his last few months sleeping on the street in the snow :(

Whats that venue like?
The ticket includes £1 Restoration Levy
That's some obscure hackney roots revivalist presumably
It’s an old old cinema that’s been converted in the last few years. I’ve not been, but they’ve had a few gigs there and I think aba has played before, which bodes well.

I’ll try and make it, it’s been too long.
