got a bunch, some for specific rooms:

kitchen is Heidegger's Being and Time, short stabs, if i get confused just leave the room.

bathroom is Irish Sagas and Folktales by Eileen O'Faolain, a room you have to commit to.

living room is Realms of the Human Unconscious by Stan Grof, why watch tv when you can relive someone else's birth trauma when they were tripping.

bedroom is Psychic Self Defence by Dion Fortune, because in a marriage you need all the help you can get, even if that help is ongoing psy-ops.

I just picked up the Dion Fortune - had always meant to read it because of the Bowie Station to station era connections. haven't started it yet as going back to work has left me too knackered to read much of anything in the evenings

Take inspiration from Ray Mears. I get them to collect rain water, sterilise it, and preach things like 'knowledge weighs nothing' by cunts like Ray Mears. A missed meal is character forming.

Ray Mears is going to lose it in one of his survival vids sooner or later. Rambo headband on, facepaint of badger blood, hostages taken, whispering 'they drew first blood' when his mentor from the scouts arrives like Colonel Trautman and then Ray takes him hostage out of despair. Gazza turns up with a fly rod and a copy of the Sunday Sport so Mears takes him hostage too. Don't know where this is going.

Andrew Hankinson's You Could Do Something Amazing With Your Life (You are Raoul Moat) is a good read. Strong armed to demur at the end over the police's mis-dealings and crimes but still an effective piece.

as far as I know Heidegger is the only philosopher with his own psychotherapy movement. I've got a copy of the Zollikon Seminars and one day I might even read it.

have you finished that Being and Time yet?

no, nibbling at it like a hobnob.

did phenomenology or incorporated/integrated it into landscapes of Celtic literature and mythology, but picked at it like a magpie tying sites to references.

with lockdown and working from home a lot more, it was time to dive in more fully.

If you're in the mood for a novel then definitely go for it. It's not heavy. It's not a chore.

But if you're one of those analytic people you can find lots to occupy you and pick apart and mull over. It's got everything
