Really? I thought the banking section was the lightest part of the website, but perhaps that's just because it's the part I know (comparatively) most about... Maybe your friends should give us both jobs!

You'd be surprised how many trained economists don't understand (to the point of being able to explain without consulting a textbook), concepts like cost of carry, fractional-reserve, money multiplier, geometric series, M0, M1, M2, M3 and so on. Try and ask some working economists. It seems quite shocking, but my friends tell me, they don't really need to know about these things in their positions, which is believable. Probably few web-designers really understand network protocols like RIP, OSPF, know what a receive-window, exponential back-off is etc.

Although I suppose not knowing about banking is not a terrible thing for an economist, as long it's not their field or place of work...

Is it okay for me to pimp my own blog here?

http://bubblegumcage3.com/

I write mainly about experimental electronic stuff but also a lot of '90s stuff like early British post-rock and "true school" hip-hop.

Also, it's not a blog but I actually used Wordpress (the free Web-based version) to build a website for my record label. I was amazed that I managed to get a fairly pro looking site online in just a couple of hours and I don't think it looks like it was obviously built with blogging software or anything like that.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I liked the hotel room one better when it had just a few on it, but the car park one is good as well. Be good if you could replace the car each time, same spot.

Teaser sentence:

On closer inspection it turned out to be a disembodied human rectum, about twelve centimetres in length, from the anus to the start of the sigmoid colon.

:D

It's just a bit of daft purple prose in the tradition of Weird Tales Of The Unexpected And Weird, but it was fun to write and I hope it may give you, dear reader, some small amusment.
