I was more shy then. So I doubt that I said anything that would be that shocking now... not cos I was more advanced, but simply cos I kept my head down somewhat. Well, not in 2004, I hadn't joined then, but you know what I mean.tonally luka is also the same
Hey man, remember me?I hate doing intros but yknow what why not. Spendy dragged me here, kicking and screaming, after we spent years arguing past each other on Reddit about "What Is Authenticity Really?" and "Utilitarianism: Good Or Dumb?" I live in Brooklyn, I work in crypto, I have an audiophilia problem, and I read philosophy books for fun, blah blah.
I did immediately like this place, though, because I was the only junglist / happy hardcore raver at my high school in scenic, suburban Albany, New York, which didn't mean I wore a hoodie and baseball cap, but I did spend a lot of time blowing my hearing out to Moving Shadow records, and producing bad breakbeat tunes as a 16 year old. I also spent a lot of time "cratedigging", which meant going to the one record store in town and buying all the $3 house records.
Then I got to college and got into other music, more sophisticated stuff like... country? Benny Goodman? Ok whatever. After college I moved to Brooklyn, had a major depressive episode, and started reading psychoanalytic theory, with the intent of figuring out "What Actually Was Lacan Talking About?" (it's been 4 years now and I still couldn't tell you), but that means I'm sympathetic toward Zizek, so of course k-punk appeared on my radar.
Don't wanna go on too long but that should give you enough overview to know where I'm at and how to piss me off.
what up!!!!!Hey man, remember me?

look, as a student of philosophy i believe you're allowed to hate something even if you're interested in learning about it. maybe all the more reason to explore it! which is why i ofc did my time hanging out with the worst racists, eugenicists, etc, until i decided id figured it out and could hate it in peace. And then you pounce on their threads, saying things like...
"i hate it it sounds like living death probably the most enervating music out but having said that i like the visual side of it."
