Watched Dr Zhivago last night. Only ever caught pieces here and there (same with LoA). Autumnal evening, both fried from work. 1000% transfixed the whole way through. A Guinness, T Courtney, too many good performances. Going to put a Julie Christie pic on the fridge now too, even things up.

Finished this last night and thought it was great.I haven't finished it yet, but I watched the first thirty minutes of The Decline of the American Empire last night and it was pretty odd. A stream of sexual anecdotes punctuated by the odd flashback and a scene where an uncomfortable looking bloke goes for a piss and fills the bowl with very fake looking blood.
