Sounds like sour grapes to me, failed artists badmouthing a varied and prolific genius who is too dead to stand up for himself. His films were so varied and he was so prolific cos he was boss of a theatre group whose other members directed alot of the films that bare his name
Beware of a Holy Whore is brilliant, would make a good double-bill with 8 1/2fox and friends was the one about the gays i gave up on (it was about 1:30am anyway) beware of a holy whore (lol) was the one i watched earlier in the evening. i like him as an actor. good swagger.
Fair enough, but do try and watch 13th Floor too and see what you make of the contrasting takes.I've not read any more of your description, got it queued up on 123 now to watch while wed have a sainsburys Indian curry meal
I admire the opening scene, and some of the self-referential stuff I thought was handled well.i could watch 8 1/2 today but the thing that worries me is i usually dont enjoy catholic aesthetics. what would you say is good about it?
It's just silly really... a man running away from his responsibilities and his women. But both it and BoaHW are broadly about someone trying and failing - or at least struggling - to make a film as I remember it.i could watch 8 1/2 today but the thing that worries me is i usually dont enjoy catholic aesthetics. what would you say is good about it?
What a child you are. Gave up cos it was 1.30am. Go back to your cartoons and comics.fox and friends was the one about the gays i gave up on (it was about 1:30am anyway) beware of a holy whore (lol) was the one i watched earlier in the evening. i like him as an actor. good swagger.
Ooh, did i miss an argument? No he didn't you just lost your temper
