The term 'conspiracy theory' is used to dispel the clearly correct notion that those at the wheel have more say over the ship's direction than the slaves in the galley - in fact, the more the slave delusively fancies himself to be the captain of the ship, the more likely he is to denounce the 'conspiracy theorists' about him.

The powerful play to the vanity of the powerless, deflecting scrutiny: eg. with Covid, the slaves are led to bicker over the masks they are led to believe are pivotal to the crisis' outcome while with the stroke of a pen, a decision-maker can directly consign 10,000s to a premature death with an ill thought policy.

Me Tea hates the poor and uneducated
It's telling that you assume the poor are stupid and vice-versa.

Luka, champion of the left, scourge of Tories, parroting Jacob Rees-Mogg! The shame of it!

It was more the attempt to equate being asked to wear a mask in Tesco with an unarmed black man being suffocated by a racist white cop that I was drawing attention to, but focus on the shitty spelling if you like.

I’m gonna be boring and suggest that the failures in public policy driven by a few utterly damaged former public school boys will do more harm than that graffiti.
Yes John, I realise it's not quite up there with the ongoing climate catastrophe or the threat of nuclear war either, but thanks.

He's basically saying that a spelling mistake is worse than a global pandemic, mass death, incipient global fascism, joblessness, poverty, starvation, drought, wildfires, acid rain....
