A Texas judge ruled Monday that Infowars founder Alex Jones would be liable in two lawsuits filed against him by the parents of two children killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Jones repeatedly failed to hand over documents for discovery, and in a ruling unsealed Thursday, a judge said he had lost the suits by default. The conspiracy theorist and his outlet will be forced to pay whatever damages an upcoming jury panel determines his claims that the mass shooting was a “false flag” pulled off by “crisis actors” are worth. Jones had multiple years to comply with the discovery orders, and the judge lambasted him for his delinquency and laziness, writing “An escalating series of judicial admonishments, monetary penalties, and non-dispositive sanctions have all been ineffective at deterring the abuse.” Parents of two 6-year-olds killed at Sandy Hook filed the suits in 2018; in all, nine families have sued Jones.

Wild Horses

This is all about the dangers of conspiracy I guess. The wormhole of denial and increasing madness that this guy has ended up in has just got him sacked from his job. Couldn't happen to a nicer dude.

Here's his diagram about how all the Jews are linked together:

I nearly put this in Version's new thread but I guess it's not "deep state" enough.
I think it makes more sense in this thread as mine was made specifically to separate the more reasonable stuff from the kind of thing that leads to antisemitism, racism and so on.

i cant be reading up on it but Weaponized-Students have been a concern for quite a while and it's not obvious what should be done about it.
In the '00s you heard a lot about Radical-Izlam recruiting on campus. You read a lot about Chinese control of their foreign student population. You read about Alt-Right provocateurs working through student bodies to sack or put pressure on lefty professors.

This whistleblower seems somewhat convenient for the establishment. She appears armed with documents proving how terrible Facebook is, the damage the site is having on people, and, rather than recommending dismantling the company and reevaluating social media as a whole, she comes out with the usual lines about hate and misinformation and advocates for further control over the internet...

I agree with her that the company clearly puts profits above the well being of its customers, but that's a societal problem that isn't exclusive to Facebook and she isn't recommending anything to tackle that. She's pushing the usual American liberal thing of the problem being that the people who know what's best for you need yet more power to keep you safe and happy.

it would be nice to think that education as a whole will break down in the face of mutually exclusive rival truths and factionalism, internecine warfare in the classrooms as ideological and religious commitments face off in a battle royale

RE: Facebook, read it's most likely DNS related, not a hack. THEY WOULD SAY THAT!!

Not just the sites and apps, it's all their internal tools and communications platforms as well. Saw a funny tweet, someone saying FB employees weren't able to get into the building this morning to evaluate the situation because their badges weren't working to access doors.

I've seen a few tweets suggesting Facebook isn't just down, it's "gone"... Someone having deleted big chunks of the code or something? Also Gmail, TikTok and other sites are apparently having trouble now too.

I met my canal mate again and he told me a few more conspiracy theories, one is about how the internet is going to be turned off soon and another is something i think called "cyber polygon". he was also saying the Earth's crust is like an orange peel and moves about occasionally.

and then another one to do with Prince Charles being in Romania at the moment because he is a vampire.
