Oh aye, and that has magickal significance?
Well, to some of them, apparently.

I think in those circles, "kek" was already in use to mean "hah", which comes from Korean online gamers typing "kekekeke" as their equivalent of "hahahaha." This was when Pepe, the lugubrious cartoon frog, had already become a mascot of sorts. Then someone noticed that there was a frog god called Kek in the ancient Egyptian religion, and they all went nuts over it.

Something like that, anyway.

At times, though, even the believers of One Big Conspiracy, the absolutists, will become bothered by coincidences that are so strange that to accept them as being facets of the conspiracy would imply that the conspiracy was far vaster, far more powerful, more supernatural, than even their grand theories would allow for.

This creates a dilemma. Either the absolutists, like the nihilists, must also dismiss these things as being sheer coincidence, thereby implying that many of the central planks in their own theory might be jettisoned accordingly, or they must inflate their theory to even more all-encompassing dimensions.

This inflationary move is the course most often taken. The theories grow in complexity and absurdity, but this is the only means to safeguard the absolutist position.

There are a large number of coincidences of this order. By now almost everyone has heard of thoseconnecting the lives and assassinations of presidents Lincoln and Kennedy. Here is a sample:

Both presidents were shot in the head.
Both presidents were shot on a Friday in the presence of their wives.
Both presidents were accompanied by another couple.
The male companion of the other couple was wounded by the assassin.
Both presidents had a son die during their presidency.
Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theatre; Kennedy was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald in a Lincoln automobile, made by Ford.
Both presidents' last names have 7 letters.

A staggering amount of paradigm-bending coincidences of this second order can also be found in relation to 9/11. For several years now researchers have claimed that the uncanny frequency of the number eleven in the events of that day, the immense volume of "predictive programming" allegedly foreshadowing 9/11 in the popular media, the esoteric symbology of the twin towers (Jachin and Boaz), the Pentagon, Flight 93, etc, all identify 9/11 and other mass events as nothing less than occult "mega-rituals."

All of this would appear to take us well beyond the customary bailiwick of the intelligence agencies. At this point in their journey the believers in One Big Conspiracy face a very abrupt fork in the path. They must either abandon their absolutist perspective and embrace a rather nebulous notion of cosmic synchronicity or they must consider that the conspiracy ultimately transcends what is humanly possible.

This is really cool, thanks for sharing.
Yes, good article, thx @DannyL . This bit very interesting

Can you go into more detail about the aspects of the work you fabricated and how you created them? What is and isn’t a forgery in the book?

First, I went on YouTube and quickly learned various software that the computer game- and film industry use to create realistic 3D models of people – avatars you can rotate, light, pose and animate. I bought some base characters and then morphed them in myriad of ways to create a range of different characters. Then I clothed and textured them. Actually I think I’ve spent about 10 times the amount on virtual clothes for my digital avatars than I’ve spent on my own wardrobe in the last years!
Then when I travelled to Veles, I for once didn’t have to spend all my time trying to get access to any people. I just photographed empty spaces, apartments, offices, park benches, and any scene that was of interest to me – and waited for there to be no people in the frame. Then I captured the specific lighting of that particular scene using a special 360-degree camera and some methods from the special FX world. When I got home, I learned how to convert these photographs into 3D spaces, and placed my avatars into the scene, with emotions, poses and lighting that matched the original scene.

Yeah, there were a couple of bits that really struck me. If I get time today (unlikely, already late for work) I'll go over the article and post them. Should probably be in the Deep Fakes thread but there's obvs a degree of overlap.

I think you're right that this is one of the vectors feeding into the current state of conspiracy thought. This is why I post a lot of those human vibration tweets, which focus largely on the idea that famous people aren't real at all but are developed from 'templates'. Deep fakes with no human behind them.

this is also crossover with what the GANs are doing

Holy shit, @catalog - sounds like you did exactly what this photographer guy did! This is some Timewave Zero hyper-coincidence shizzle!

If you look very closely on flickr I can be seen looking very serious at this event in North Mac (Back when it was just the Rep of Mac) https://e-society.mk/e-society-mk-2017/ which Peter P sadly failed to turn up at, but gave a good speech over skype all about the Veles phenomenon
