^ That's so wordlessly endearing. :)

Edit: my girlfriend says it's probably the Knitting Terrorists. Obviously.

today I saw a punk wearing tights, running up a street whilst attempting to dribble with a basketball (and not very well), with a concentrated and slightly worried/self concious look on his face. No-one even took a second glance.

Pah, kids think they're so cool - my gran was knitting before any of these guys had even been born.

My girlfriend knits, but she does it to be warm, not cool.

THe problem (or maybe the good thing?) with knitting is that it has that fucked up learning curve which isn't so much a curve as it is a sudden cliff face.

Knitting a scarf is fairly easy, but then anything else after that (like a jersey) is really really difficult.

Yeah, she (my girlfriend, I mean) makes jumpers, really good ones that fit and have complicated patterns on them.

I think she is actually just a witch.

Mechanical phantoms
Was on the bus the other day and there was a guy with a dog which was not on a lead. After a while the dog got up and went to the front then the guy followed it, the bus stopped and they got off. It was like the guy was following the dog

Would have been cool if it had rung the bell
