Aquascutum and Jaeger have been heavily discounting throughout the last year, particularly the latter - Jaeger has been some of the best stuff pound-for-pound on the highstreet. I picked up 4 Jaeger suits in the last year, £160 was the most I paid.

Aquascutum were recently making their suits so the last button was left open and *couldn't be* closed. Massively retarded stuff - whoever came up with that should be whipped through the streets.

spring is here and (hopefully) warmer weather just around the corner, time to put away the winter gear and maybe pick up a few new things. what are you all into for spring/summer?

i need a light jacket that's not too heavy for daytime but warm enough for cool spring evenings, a plus if it can be worn in a light drizzle. any suggestions?

also, do people still wear clark wallabees? i know they were big a few years ago with lots of reggae and rap guys. they look really comfortable, are they?

They don't suit me but if they did, I like the pac-a-mac stuff that's around :

This Universal Works one looks nice :

and if you're flush, and want to buy me one, this Nigel Cabourn Ventile thing is the nuts :

good suggestions, although was thinking perhaps a little less sporty looking. not this one specifically, but something along these lines:

totally cos of Roc Marciano and the Lo-Life crew though rather than it potentially suiting me...

That Rick Owens leather jacket is great, not the kind of thing i'd ever wear though (or could afford).

Is there any fecking reason to still be selling jeans with button flies in the 21st century? What is the bloody point?

Weird, isn't it? But is it a new(ish) thing or an old thing that was revived for some (or no) reason? I don't think I ever saw a pair before I was about 20 and then it soon became hard to find a decent pair that had a normal zip fly.

It was particularly annoying this time because it was Next, which is normally a safe bet for effort-free jeans buying, and now I actually have to think about where to go instead...
