One of the things that have struck me about the dam as it is known amongst corpses and his mates so far is how awkwardly people move. Danes are bad as well but I’ve seen some particularly abhorrent running forms today walking through the city.
It's one of those things that completely throw you off when you become conscious of it in yourself too, like suddenly being very aware of your breathing or your tongue.

Apparently you are supposed to have your tongue pressed against the roof of mouth and your mouth closed when you aren't talking, eating or otherwise using it, but the mewing thing's something like applying constant pressure to the soft palate via the tongue, chewing masses of gum and all sorts and people think it's going to make them look like Dolph Lundgren.

You get those jaw exercise things too. I imagine all it does is make your facial muscles stick out a bit more and give you jaw ache, maybe even some sort of repetitive injury.

how do people in amsterdam move then? Could you describe it? I've never thought about it but maybe it's because the people are so big?

leo can we see what you might wear on a typical day?

See? No. But I can describe it as largely uneventful, made to blend in. a typical day working from home is dark straight-legged jeans (most likely Levi's) with a plain t-shirt. Sometimes the t-shirts are striped (@luka and I had this discussion before your time) but usually solids, and usually on the cool side of the color spectrum (blacks/blues/greys). I also own nicer clothes but haven't had much reason to get dressed up in the past 18 months.

Denmark, Germany - generally practical and tidy approach to clothing

France, Spain - everyone is trying to be as hot as humanly possible all of the time, very appearance focused, France in a conformist way and Spain in a more varied way. I fancy more or less everyone

England - no one gives a shit and if you do, you look weird. the part of the world least concerned with wearing nice clothes

Pakistan, Afghanistan - everyone is obsessed with what they look like and communicate a huge amount through headgear

New York City - a whole complex visual language, endless interpretation, similar to france and Spain in terms of how important clothes are to life, different in that there's about a hundred different things people are trying to communicate with thier clothes, rather than a narrow range

That's the whole world
