And maybe a couple steins too.
I had to Google this, didn't even know what a stein was

Beer steins came into the world during the time of the Bubonic Plague and, as a result of the deadly epidemic, Germany mandated that beverage containers must be covered for sanitary purposes. Conical tops with thumb levers (usually made of pewter) topped the beer steins, keeping flies and their associated diseases out.

Yeah steins are cool. I just watched the Powell/pressburger adaptation of The Tales of Hoffman, and the tavern scene had a bunch of great steins and ornate tobacco pipes as well.

I’m currently having a St. Pauli Girl lager, which I am enjoying more than I expected, which admittedly isn’t saying much.

Wow, that's a blast from the past. when we were in high school and college, we were usually broke and could only afford shit domestic beer like Miller, but once in awhile we'd save our pennies and splurge on the only imports that were around at the time: Heineken, Beck's or St. Pauli Girl. SPG was a luxury, although now I don't recall what it tasted like. I had no idea it still existed, haven't seen it around for ages.

Yeah this is the first time I’ve tried it, and I like it. Right around par with Miller High Life, slightly above PBR, maybe slightly below Sam Adams Boston Lager
