U get a few different chais. in India, but the best one is where they boil up the leaves with milk and a load of spice. They do also have thd Moroccan style black tea in small cups here and there

Drink has been taken, I've been banned by wife off the strong erdingers so just a can of bierra moretti which was surprisingly delicious, and now I've had 2 little cans of desperado which I would normally find disgusting but somehow it's like heavenly water and I'm going to have naotheg I think.

Been drinking all afternoon and evening in 40 degree plus heat and feel surprisingly normal, I must be building up a tolerance. Should probably drink a glass of water at some point though

its becasue its that hot that you feel normal. i think you sweat it out or soemthing. not sure about the science but i know when it gets that hot you cant get drunk. dont bother with the water, beer is mostly water.

that first ice cold beer that hit the back of my throat this afternoon was nothing short of orgasmic. I live in literally the hottest place in the world it's insane, if it wasn't for the bars I don't know what I'd do with myself, what sit inside all day with the aircon on? Fuck that.

afghans drink exclusively milkless tea thirdform. putting milk in must start somewhere around islamabad

Turks also drink exclusively milkless, and all my pakistani friends drink it without milk. In fact I asked one of my Punjabi Pakistani friends and they said yes, they drink it without milk but you can get milky chai, but for them chai with no suffix refers to black tea. So @catalog is right. No idea what's up with the #modipilled lot though, they are a different lot, making songs for Boris Johnson and all.

But i mean you can get milky chai or çay in Turkey, it's just that noone drinks it. It's quite shameful to do so, you see, it's the equivalent of telling a tourist that the best cider that Britain has to offer is Bulmers.

like sure, if you ask for sütlü çay, we'll give it to you in abundance, more milky tea in one serving than even the entire British nation has drunk in their entire lives. That doesn't mean we won't snigger amongst ourselves when youre gone though.

there are levels to this man levels.

maybe pakistan is the shatter zone - like for many things i guess - on the euro-asian milk in tea continuum. everything i had in islamabad and karachi had milk in. that kind of tea which is full of sugar and milk. although in retrospect i think i was offered the option of milk tea or tea.

when i think of india and bangladesh, what i think of is those big cauldrons full of pre-mixed milk tea, constantly on the boil at restaurants on the street
