I'm willing to bet you guys don't have beef jerky over there either.
Oh, you can get it in most supermarkets. It's pretty expensive, although that's probably unavoidable since you need a whole side of beef to make a little packet that's like an ounce or something.

theyve only recently started selling jerky here. it's part of the contemporary protein obsession.

Yeah, it's turned up within the last decade or so.

A butcher near me sells pheasant biltong, which is pretty lit.

Has Jumbo Culture made its way to UK? Can you guys get sodas this size? This particular photo is linked to an article which makes me suspect they’ve been outlawed even in the US

No, the majority of us are civilised, well, to the north and west (yeah right), unless it’s alcohol in which case fill our cauldrons to the brim

No offence Americans but you’ve perverted pork scratchins. Why have protein when you can have deep fried pork fat rinds and whatever food group factory farmed pig hair bristles fall into?

We have pork rinds here, but in our case that may be an artefact of mexican / south american culture. I could be totally wrong though, maybe we also made them here traditionally.

i had a really horrible beer that my friend ordered for me in the 12th street ale house last night, it was called pig something, and the blackboard listed its characteristics as 'gangster', 'duck' and 'amber'. i think i was sat next to jesse malin @Leo @Leo @Leo, it was someone who looked very similar, though if it was him he's managed to stay looking very youthful.

i also had a ukranian beer in the basement restaurant next to vesselka, it was great, immediately on first sip it made me think i was in europe, that kind of default nice generic lager taste, you never get that here anywhere, everything is heavier and more intense. even when i drink lagers they're pretty different to european ones
