For the past few decades, the booming region for US population and industry has been the Sun Belt, stretching from Arizona/Texas to Florida, up through Georgia and the Carolinas. They'll all soon be roasting half the year. Maybe we'll see a retreat back up North, a rebirth of the Rust Belt.
