Mr Figz is sick, beautiful melodies, theres a track on his Mystical Dubz EP which is amazingly lush

Yeah it's annoying. I picked up a few random bassline bits and bobs I had never heard off and a couple of wiley records. It's a good deal with the free postage.

this thread's died a bit, hasn't it? any1 care to speculate why? guess funky's doing a lot right now instead.

trc's got some good mixes up on his myspace blog, his tune 'hush baby' is great too.

burgaboy's remix of 'tears' is wicked, subzero's remix of ciara 'i promise' is very interesting...

It's just all a bit one-dimensional for me, to be honest. Decent to rave to and all that but there's very little to talk about in terms of one dimensional sound with no decent MCs or even tunes with any depth.
Not that that's what the scene is about, it's a rave thing and that's not bad, but nothing really changes or happens in it.
