What? I don't get those last two. Is this just rumour mill stuff or what? I get that a lot of teams will understand that there is going to be a huge fire-sale at Barcelona and will be eyeing the talent available but when you look at it there isn't that much. To me the ones that might interest big teams are Ter Stegen, Griezmann, Dembele, De Jong.... and Messi of course. But they're probably exactly the ones they want to hang on to and build the new team around (with the hope that some of the above might do better after a clear out). Ajax chasing Suarez makes no sense at all to me.

Can’t see Ajax affording his wages. City just want double cover for every position so that makes more sense.
I find it rather sad that Joe Hart has had to settle for being Spurs’ No2 (or possibly No3) he’s not that old is he? I know he’s not what he was but is he hoping for a bit of Europa League action? And I say all this as a Spurs’ fan.

Apart from Bayern Barca pretty much every game since the re-start has gone against my wishes so I'll keep quiet on that score.

those Chelsea Barcelona games were amazing. So intense. We would sign in for work then immediately go to the pub, get pissed, watch the game and go back to sign out.

Coutinho is not the first loan player to score against the team that owns him and there is no great shame in that, but if he wins the Champions League with Bayern, Barcelona will reportedly owe Liverpool €5m more. The Champions League victory clause attached to his €120m-plus-€40m move from Anfield – a move that happened six months later than they wanted – did not specify that it had to be for them. If true, they’re effectively paying him to beat them, which would be so very Barcelona somehow; his goals were a suitably pitiful end.
I keep seeing that reported. Quite funny if true although there always seem to be a few uncertainties in the reporting.
I was hoping you'd come here to say that Messi had signed for West Ham or something.
Yeah, apparently it's bollocks.

It's come up before, but the fake crowd noise being used in certain games is bizarre. Every now and then I remember the stands are more or less empty.

Glad Bayern won. I wanted them to anyway, but I really wanted them to after Neymar and co. started throwing themselves to the floor following every challenge.

When they last won the treble, I thought they were the blueprint for the modern team as they seemed to have it all - fast, physical, technical, flexible, lots of depth - and I get the same feeling looking at the current squad. Their only real weakness is the high line and their defenders and keeper are good enough to deal with that for now. You look at every other aspect of their game and it's about as good as it gets. They're what Barca should be aiming to be, imo. Still favouring possession, but quicker and tougher, with an aerial threat and the ability to play on the break.

I don't like either team but I really countenance PSG winning so yeah it's a good thing on the whole I think. Didn't think either team played that well last night to be honest but that made it entertaining up to a point and closer than expected.
Just saw this on twitter
Reports in Spain have claimed Barcelona have terminated Luis Suarez's contract and he will now be available as a free agent this summer.
