Nice goal here... but according to the Guardian there were 33 passes or something, I'd like to see the whole thing.

Liverpool are gaining momentum at just the right time.

One of the most fluent teams in recent memory. There‘s a funny awkwardness that lifted after they subbed Milner. He went off all wtf, then the sub interlinked to a goal almost immediately.

For the sake of the league, I hope Koop stays as long as possible.

Been kinda strange to see them not quite clicking lately. Dunno why cos they have the players, the system, the experience, the manager.... I actually hope they get to top level in Europe again at least cos I think they're the only team that would stand a chance against Bayern if both were firing full cylinders.
Weird with United top of the league lately cos, while they are greatly improved, they really are not that good.

Solskaerjraeraer is hard to dislike, would have played Van de Beek far more. That’s their ace in the pack if they can get him to click. Ajax players usually have the goods.

Brendan Rogers to Utd would be fun.

Gotta feel a bit sorry for that Southampton kid who just got sent off 90 seconds into his premiership debut without touching the ball.

Reminds me of a great write up which bemoaned a red card with the opening line “On a night for sliding tackles...was unfortunate to be shown a red card.”

I love a good red card, the best utter spannerings happen when at least player has been dismissed. Surely we all enjoyed Luiz having to take an early bath today? The 9th since Arteta took over. Dirty Arsenal.

He would never be that clumsy.

It never stopped anyone paying attention to Arsenal.

Oh he was clumsy on Saturday. Don't chicken.

Don't be daft, you lost to shef UTD last week, definition of clumsy.

We aren't shit though. Just going through a long restructuration period. Still have second best defence in the league. Very few teams would have been able to hold on with nine men.

Luiz has historical record for being clumsy though, I'll grant you that. The sooner he's gone the better. But tonights red was unjustified.

I'm just joking, I haven't seen it but the commentator I saw was outraged, he thought it was a disgrace. But these things keep happening with Luiz eh? He's a funny one cos half of him is brilliant.

Cavani, another clumsy yanited player. No player misses as many sitters as he does - although sometimes I think Pepe is Cavani in disguise.
