Also hearing reports that the Leipzig goalie who played against Spurs on Wednesday has tested positive for C19 - Tottenham have been advised they need take no further action however as none of their players got anywhere near him.

Maybe if Tiger Roll was two metres from the finish and the rest of the field was half a mile bsck when they cancelledwould make a better analogy... but I enjoyed the spite even so.

Darned cockwombles.
Lol jesus, football fans. Could be nuclear war and they'd still be arguing in that pseudo-moral way. I guess being an Everton fan is a post-apocalyptic endeavour.

Let's see if football even exists in its former state first!

People at work are enjoying the highlights shows being rolled out, the big match and grandstand and stuff. All that old sport is proper time capsules.

Apparently Scottish league have decided to end the league now with the positions as they are. This means that Partick Thistle are to be relegated, despite being only 2pts from safety - with a game in hand! That can't be right can it?

I like the final point... how did such a joyous, pure and completely idealistic thing; untainted by greed, dishonesty or any form of cheating; a simple expression of true creativity, teamwork and unpartisan celebration of athleticism; the beautiful game in other words... how did it change in just a couple of short seasons to this?

I did wonder if it was a some kind of complex joke about Andy Serkis playing Gollum AND (Kilburn and the Highroads singer) Ian Dury... but with hindsight probably not.

WashYourHands is a Glaswegian and is trying to bring their shabby sectarian conflict onto dissensus

@luka and Rangers. Don’t. If you’ve family from around the Clyde, just opt for Clydebank. If it’s calibrated by personality, Hibs & the CCS are the perennial nightmare away day. Hibs you can respect, Rangers & their fucking Queen fixation? Appalling.

As for QPR, as much as I loved Sir Les of Ferdinand, Pete Doherty should say it all.

From all over, but family are from Glasgow, yes. Sectarian? A hun is a hun, regardless of denomination.

My family moved away from Scotland (and Northern Ireland) almost 200 years ago. And none of them were from Glasgow as far as I know. Just causing some more trouble

Thing about Rangers is less the sectarianism, more that their sizeable firm has affiliated itself with the old C18 elements & remnants at Chelsea & Portsmouth, along with the plethora of fascist groups tied to clubs like Inter & Lazio for decades. Agree this is not indicative of every supporter, but it’s never been rooted out fully because the club like to keep it quiet.

Not justifying old firm stupidity, rather there are more malevolent forces at work, but when they got relegated to hell & back while the entire club imploded, that was art.
