Sky aren't happy about it. They were all self-righteous about the super league as it threatened their bottom line, but now the fans standing up to the owners is impacting them they've had the hosts trying to steer people like Neville and Carragher away from publicly supporting the protests; Carragher actually got quite emotional and started dropping hints toward Hillsborough re: how the media work to twist situations like this to smear the fans.

PSG cutting up rough when not going their way. No surprises but I don’t think I’ve seen a side that has so many gifted players who are also so arrogant and petulant.

Doha were dead after the first 10 of the second half. Classic Pochettino disasterclass. Abu Dhabi bossed that game and Fodan is incredible tbh, even if as an Arsenal fan I'm supposed to hate him. Love the scally.

Iker Casillas had another heart attack yesterday, playing padel of all things. Maybe it's for the best I stuck to squash. But poor guy, great keeper I thought, hope he's ok.

Surely now that is the end of this seemingly ever living iteration of Real. The heart of the team - Ramos, Kroos, Modric and Benzema - are all the wrong side of fifty. Needs a complete overhaul you'd think but it looks as though Hazard can't be the catalyst for it that they wanted him to be.

I thought that with the goal where havertz hit the bar and it got dinked in... You saw ramos in the background and he gave up running back. I mean, that is not very ramos at all.

A slow decline with a few flickers of a hint at a return to form - "I´m feeling great, playing well and ready for a new challenge" - which always turn out to be mere flattery to deceive. Plateaus on an inexorable slope to retirement. It almost sounds sad until you remember what a cunt he is.

I agree that Benzema seems to be playing better than ever before at 34 but the others are all fading. I mean maybe you can have Modric or Kroos but you need a young un in there to do the running, i don't think you can play those two together in centre midfield against a top side.

Not when you see how devastating Kante plays in the middle - there was a period in the first half when it looked like they’d given Modric too much room - Mount not coming back and covering that space but by the second half Tuchel plugged that gap and when Pulisic came on Real looked fucked.
