This is a track I just finished, it's kind of funky but definitely UK, 126bpm

Yeah it's good, initial thoughts would be to cut the vocal sample so it just says "i make everything" and then just add the 'alrights', and the first 'ping' of the new sequence coming in the breakdown could be cut, but don't listen to me, just writing first thing I thought.

The sounds are very nice, as is the programming, it's as good as I'd expect given your exemplary mixing, nice.

Did we ever establish what the tune about 26min into the Geeneus @ FWD mix was? I remember some people mentioning it, but I can't remember if it got ID'd. Gets pulled up twice.

My favourite part of this Funky thing has been it forcing me to go back & rethink Broken Beat, which I thought was just OKish until recently. Now I love the stuff & have picked up loads of second-hand cheap stuff - just listening to Opaque on Archive Records at the moment...great...

Oh yeah, I'm into that for sure. Microgenre names are a good way to guide you back to stuff you'd overlooked though - you can happily throw the map away when you get there :)

M*sta J*m was playing some funky vocal last night on 1X called "Are You Gonna Bang", which is a vocal of an Apple beat claiming it's the biggest tune in Napa. Terrible imo, anyone else heard it?
