I loved listening to scratcha on the old Rinse grimey breakfast show, could be hilarious sometimes. the cover interview a couple of months ago in the wire was interesting, he's maintained the personality yet also become more serious in speaking out about racism in music and elsewhere and other issues. also looks like he lost some weight and is a bit more fashionable compared to the early rinse days.

Yeah he's a good radio personality, might have said this before but I generally don't really like any of his music, apart from his edits and remixes.

I remember one of the grime breakfasts really stuck in my mind cos it was around the time of Joseph fritzl and he was getting people to call in and devise the way in which they would have escaped... I mean, he's a funny one.

I'm a regular daytime NTS listener nowadays and hear a lot of great stuff but I will say that Scratcha's show is the only one that has that sort of pirate radio energy to it – both in terms of the music he plays and the vibe in the studio.

If you're an rnb artist and you haven't got a song with the title 'falling', you have to ask yourself, "what are you doing with your life"

he's in NYC right now, shared an IG video on a ferry boat with a bunch of tourist going down the east river under the Brooklyn bridge, asking people if he should go to the top of the Empire State building in the day or night.

Guy on Croydon Fm, Just Skillz, who appears to be DevineUK affiliated, has a pretty good show. It's decent station to have on usually.

Actually, does anyone (Benny?) have a high quality file of House Girls? None kicking about to buy online

Yeah I do. What's the best way of quick file sharing these days without having to sign up for anything? (Asked this before on here and no-one got back to me)

Mediafire lives actually, still find the odd working link. Many mixes lost in that big bonfire

That will do or even a google drive link. Thanks so much Benny!

Been glued to this thread all day, a trip down memory lane

Benny is your funky vocals mix still around anywhere?

There's a point in the thread where you can see the switch – I ask a question about something or other and luka (previously a 'raving fanboy' for funkystepz) says "kids these days don't listen to music, they're riding their microscooters" or something

The end

Threads like this make me feel like Dissensus must be backed up in all the clouds and possibly launched into space on a golden record
