WOEBOT bows out

Apparently our host and benefactor Woebot is ceasing and desisting all online activity as of now:

http://www.woebot.com/

Thanks for everything and good luck with new directions in life. Hopefully Dissensus will continue to blossom in your absence (and honour).

I can totally see why and respect the decision, thanks for all the good stuff man, you've been a great help to me personally.

That's a shame but I can understand the reasoning.

Your online presence will be missed.

Darned cockwombles.
The man's a legend - he leaves a massive hole in online music writing. How the hell am I going to find a concise introduction to NDW or obscure French prog NOW?!? :(

Let's hope he's doing this Jay-Z style...

Can only echo all that, dissensus really has introduced me to a lot of stuff (and made my working day almost bearable).

WOEBOT and dissensus have been responsible for shaping my listening more than anything else the past couple of years.

Matt you'll sorely be missed, thanks for everything and good luck.

Good luck mate, I've had a great time on here the past year and a half or so...long live Dissensus!

Yeah, I remember when he was really good, not much to miss now, I'll never forget the 2004-era stuff but by 2006 he was all played out...

Nothing but respect and admiration for Woebot. And not just from me but from any and everyone I can think of who's ever read his work or followed his blog.

I can't help but secretly hope that he finds some time to work on writing music (not just about music), even if we never get to hear it.
