To minimise confusion and ease the changeover you could keep your Chinese name and just change your surname.

Perhaps something like Thatswhaticallmusic? Would be good as a DJ name as well I think.

i gave myself the first name Leo at age 12, when i moved to the states -- was a combination of following:

a bit silly. but hey, i was 12. what would you have chosen as a 12 year old if you had the chance to rename yourself? you'd probably be Grendel or Lestat or Jah Wobble or Popol Vuh or something.

Leo reminds me of an old Brooklyn guy or something. it also reminds me of my grandfather's brother Nunzio... when they came here his parents asked someone for a common American name for Nunzio to put on his paperwork and use that sounded less italian. So some shithead told them "Donald" would be good. Apparently it took Nunzio over a year to stop saying "Hi Donnie" to everyone. He thought that was just the American way of saying hello.

did you watch that cartoon as a kid too? for some reason they were showing it in China when i was growing up. that and Atom Boy (both by the same company i think).
