Also, I dunno why you're sticking up for him cos he really really hates you. The other day I got a PM thing and I was thinking "ooh that's exciting, wonder what that's about, I hardly ever get PMs on dissensus" - then I saw it was from Mr Tea and obviously my first thought was that I couldn't be arsed to open it and go to all trouble of reading it and so on, but in the end, cos I pride myself on my manners as you probably know, I thought I'd have a look and I opened it and, like i said it was from Tea, and it just said "That guy Stan is a cunt isn't he?"

@Mr. Tea is there truth to this? Are your puns not as effortless as they appear?
You know how there are these Zen koans and parables and suchlike that say "The perfect mind is like the surface of a lake on a still day, completely flat and tranquil, and then a perfect thought occurs, like the ripples emanating from the spot where a fish has spontaneously broached the surface"?

That's how it is with me and puns.

Actually Rich replied immediately because it was about tunes for his wretched club night that about three people will go to out of pity, and he was pathetically grateful to have some music from me, Dissensus's premier cutting-edge producer of completely suis-generis dance music.

That is actually true come to think of it. There was one I really liked in fact. Well... I'm gonna try and restrict myself to one per producer so it would be more accurate to say that there was at least one that I really liked.

Assuming that I can get it on to the USB in the right format and all that I will definitely play it - and i'll try and remember to film it so you can see the reaction. Proper road test. It feels to me that that should be how it works, you can see how they react and maybe tweak it even if need be... I dunno... getting a bit ahead of myself perhaps but that is the idea.

I really hoped that Musk would not buy twitter - cos I had a bet with my friend. Luckily it was clear that he wasn't gonna buy it so my friend conceded and I won the bet. Oops.

Anyway, now Musk has changed his mind and bought the thing... what difference do we think it will make? I guess Trump might come back but will there be changes to the way it works and to the day to day experience of users?

I think I will actually get rid of the the Twitter app off my phone soon, not in protest of musk taking over, which I couldn't give a shit about, but just cos it does my head in so much. Practically every post makes me cringe.

At the moment I don't really give a shit about Musk either, although I'm perfectly willing to recognise that he might suddenly do something awful that I'd never even considered.

Musk: "OK yes I am buying Twitter after all, because I love free speech."

Racists: *deep breath* "Nnnnnnnnnn......."

I’m surprised these people haven’t just started using the term “n word”. That seems like something you’d expect from the post-racist trolls (who just seem largely upstream from actual racists in certain ways).

now he's talking about maybe having different channels, a "nice" one that's moderated and other no-holds barred ones for fiery hellscape cesspool conversations.

I'm not sure white people just saying "n***er" lots for the sake of it are really all that "post" racist, you know.

I’m mainly referring to the terminally online trollsport milieu of 4chan and whatnot, who allegedly were responsible for popularizing this notion that the “ok” hand-sign was a white supremacist dogwhistle - prompting it to actually become adopted by white supremacists.
