It's very expensive this thing, $6500 or so, and there's been a lot of blog talk about how naff it looks.

Might be a nice gimmick but isn't it just like having an eBow on each string? Actually I'm a bit surprised Moog have done this, they didn't design it - they were approached by the inventor, and just as they were starting to do really well they've invested a lot into what could turn out to be a big white elephant.

It might be nice for noodly ambient textural stuff, but yeah, it seems like a very expensive gimmick, and a strange thing for Moog to put their name to. I can't quite see/hear the knock me down with a feather/OMG!!!1! (delete appropriately according to your demographic ;) revolutionary aspect. Swears' options might be a better bet ;)
