Inflation/Hyperinflation

Bernancke = big time Keynesian, at present

People who read the WSJ would tend to be more neoclassical (anti-inflationary rather than pro-full-employment), unless they work for an investment bank experiencing difficulties.

Judging by the level of literacy and argument the majority seem more like a bunch of nutters who get righteously annoyed when someone uses the word socialism.

I think "socialism for the rich" is pretty hard to take if you're not rich or a socialist.

(Though obviously commenters on any given blog are generally crackpot losers with too much time on their hands).

Try to be really sneaky and not get caught. Work with a buddy but don't talk about the things you want to steal once you're inside the shop. Prioritize small, valuable, and easily resaleable items over things that are extremely bulky and/or of little value.

The other day I thought the same about the prospect of going to eat out and it only costing $20 for your basic entree plus tip, and as recently as a year ago I had that price point filed away as the rare indulgence

What's that? About 8-10%?
Meanwhile a barrel of oil has dropped about 30% over the same time period.

It's going to be oranges and lumps of coal for Christmas this year.

They're rioting in Argentina over inflation, but it's around 70% there

Yeah about 9% isn't it. The issue will be further exaggerated for us as the pound is still fucked against the dollar ofc

Argentina will be the third crash in twenty years if they manage it. Think they've been talking about The Argentine Paradox since the 60s though to be fair
