sorry if this is too personal or even patronising, but sometimes things that are happening in my life that flavour how i experience the forum and even come out as anger on the forum.

to be honest patty, i'm not sure all this talk of cliques and negativity and underhanded nastiness isn't actually about something else that's non-forum related.

There's a handful of you that need to resist the urge to take a pop at each other. These arguments suck the life out of the forum and really aren't that important. It's been a ghost town since the baked beans thread and it's no wonder really. Nobody wants to sit and read this stuff, myself included. It's nasty and boring and even the people involved don't enjoy it or get anything out of it. I mean you've just spent at least a couple of hours getting angry at each other tonight and for what? You're probably all in shit moods now, might struggle to sleep due to being all fired up and we've got another couple of threads full of the same tired arguments... Great.

It isn't that hard to just not be dicks to each other. The rest of us manage it.
