Blah Records is dope imo - more progressive than HF and has one of the UK's top MCs - Lee Scott . There is one guy in the Blah roster who I think is v.overrated tho (he's in the vid you posted)...

Yeah, we've discussed them in another thread or two as well. That tune's one of the better ones they've put out. I prefer the stuff that hews closer to jungle than techno.

i've not listened to anything by any of them after that shit night i went to where they played, totally put me off. but i was really into the whole thing for a bit.

Amazing how ANCIENT this stuff sounds now.

The sound quality is so bad on this set that I'm assuming the main appeal for you here is the MCing/vibes.

This stuff would still sound absolutely fantastic on a big rig. Preferably standing next to it with the wall vibrating against my back.

Happens to everything eventually, even the most radical/exciting music. Especially cos of technical advances in recording.

I suppose to some kid's ears this stuff sounds about as quaint as jazz did to me.
