getting acquainted with all kinds of other ages and geographies of house music has been a really pleasant and unexpected byproduct of following funky. i'm really glad you and a few others are doing a lot of this historical work. i feel kind of funny putting it that way, but not sure how else to say it.

i guess in this case it's particularly interesting since it seems as though significant swaths of funky listeners/musicians are arriving at this hous(ish) music from a musical trajectory that had not much to do with house up until now. (maybe people disagree with that... dunno)

at any rate, enjoyed the Move D and Kerri Chandler as much as the Martin Kemp and Shortstuff business...

nah i completely agree - bug up ben ufo, elgato and braiden etc for the house history lessons!
