Virtual Suicide

Link's broken.

This is sad and all, but I can't wait till the media finds some way to spin this like it's the internet's fault that these women are killing themselves.

It's like fucking "sexting"--if I hear one more word about how cell phones are going to rape your daughter... teenagers, having sex? Seeing each other naked? Like OMG I never realized, who'd have thought? Must be the cell phones fault.

All about pride and egos
Nah, nah, the article is about "killing off" your virtual self, not the internet making you kill your actual self.

Like removing yourself completely from social networking because it is intruding on your actual life, devaluing all your relationships with people, leaving you lusting over long since made ex-lovers, and feeling empty and alone.

I think it's funny that this is meant to be some sort of revelation or something. It's basically in the fine print.

Ahhhhh, ok. for some reason the link just will not work on my computer.

But yeah, I have friends who delete their myspace or facebook page like once every three months, then invite you back again.
