badman stage name- check!

gunned down in New York - check!

when I was in my teens I used to hang out at the flat of the biggest hash dealer in the 'shire"

my Yellowman tunes gained me entry to a world of huffing on bongs full of amyl nitrate and hash sprinkled with cocaine contributed by the Thames valley drug squad ( we used to go to the fetish shop on the Kings road where you could buy Cambridge rapist leather masks and ask for a "bottle of amyl" and some Twink in running shorts would hand over a quarter of a pint for 4 pounds and fifty pence and we'd dip our cig filters in it and pass out on the train home... )

there was no literature associated with dub back then, but over the years words like "cavernous" would get over used but in this case it was wise because the snares rattle off into some cave while the bass pins us down..

etc

so drunk

A tune to add to the 1994 (30 year anniversaries) thread

It has all the delicate touches from Kirk you could expect from the period, except here he throws an uncanny riff in used just sparingly enough to assist its unique lilting mood, furthering a sense of vertical tension required to resolve the inherent boredom of mid-tempo 4/4 house tracks
