Just GIMP? I'm surprised you weren't using some code to generate them in a procedural way. (Unless GIMP is far more advanced than I suspected and that's what you were actually doing?)Yeah definitely see the islamic vibe, sacred geometry, etc. Didn't know about Kufic though.

For those tiled ones I was just doing it manually, but GIMP does have scripts, e.g. I used a script for Decaesitum, one where a flat mazelike texture is generated, which I then manually manipulate

Would be cool to write a custom script for it though, and its trivially easy to do these things with AI code assistants.
