Peter Cook ampointed head of design for the London Olympics

Never heard of him until yesterday (although I've heard of the radical Archigram [this is why I read The Times as my main broadsheet, who also had large obituary on the King of Hobos the other day] ) - but man, if Cook will stay in charge of design then the Olympics could be quite something in terms of Architecture. Wondered what he was up to nowadays, he must be getting on a bit now. I take it he quit drinking and became an architect then?
