anyway, so this Burial lad, where did it go wrong?
one thing where it went very right i think is that he has totally shunned exploiting his semi-fame. hard to think of others who have done it so fully. specifically refusing to release an 'album' since 2007 and never ever playing live. i've always been impressed by that. leaving the money on the table.anyway, so this Burial lad, where did it go wrong?

It's the same reason why there are relatively few examples of acid based breakbeat tunes,
El-B said it's not really a choice. He just can't overcome his anxiety, stage fright, whatever, to be able to do it, even when festivals are chucking money at him. I think it's also not really his thing, but that's apparently a big part of it.
