Vincent Moon's Take Away Show w Kazuki Tomokawa, about half'n hour long:
Especially the bits at the end, him playing guitar in the underground passage & the last piece with Gaspar Clausen on Cello playing lying on his back are pure magic.

Crikey, that's a bit high concept, Alecia!

Not too sure about stealing from Springsteen's 'Philadelphia', though.

I'm sure Talking Heads are probably pretty passe but this track is too good. Remembered about this album after I'd not listened in ages. Really goood.

Darned cockwombles.
Talking Heads' Best of was the first CD (not first album, that was much less cool) I ever bought. Yet never followed up on it, even though I love what I know of them. Today is the time to discover Remain in Light etc, I think.

Aye get into Remain In Light. I think it's the heavy groove(s) on that album that do it for me, and really promote it above the rest of their stuff for myself. Thick and humid and funky. The first 4 tracks are all great.

both Fun Boy Three albums - totally underrated. Hall's anger on tracks like The More That I See, the really inventive rhythms and percussion that were clearly such a big influence on the likes of Tricky..

First time I've heard this I think. Fucking quality. Think I'm gonna need to investigate their back catalogue a little deeper. Got 'My Life In The Bush of Ghosts' on just now ...sounds totally different to what I expected. I like it.

heard this over a festival soundsystem last year, and it was possibly the best thing ever.

Haha yeah that whole album is amazing. That's one of my favourites. The vocal chorus thing is awesome.
