sweet. i've definitely come around to the opinion that radio sets are really the only worthwhile way to listen to this stuff. i think a lot of the reason i've been out of the funky loop is cos i've been just been checking out new releases by listening to juno clips and youtube and being kind of underwhelmed by most tunes on their own. but when it's all mixed by petchy with topsee etc chatting on it, it's just so crazily hype. it only makes sense to me like that really. this 13.02.2010 petchy one is vibes, some amazing bars too, the patrick cox one made me lol

XP: I'm just slightly worried that that moment has now passed though. AFAIK Petchy hasn't done a Saturday set with MCs since last year. Too busy with the DJ bookings now I suppose.

Yeah it's bothering me a bit too. I think the most recent Petchy MC set I have on the comp is from January, with Deepeo and Tops. The mixes he's been putting up on his soundcloud lately have been mostly towards the housey end of things, albeit with some cool bits from people like Ossie, and still good overall obv. But no MCs...

my friend went pacha on saturday and said he *thinks* he saw him, unsure though. The guy/petchy played a banger of a set though, up front trackky business
