Let's Talk About Ceps
@Mr. Tea I've only recently come to this Big Pharma realisation through close observation of the corona ongoings and cold, hard logic. Since this manipulation is real, it's no wonder that so many people imagine it even where it doesn't apply; you shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Is this the same cold, hard logic that leads you to consider the notion of covid-19 vaccines being part of a global depopulation programme a serious possibility?

Not read it actually, although he generally knows what he's talking about.

So are you on Team Science now?
just pointing out that the critique of Big Pharma is as mainstream and sensible centrist as Biscuits said it was.

when you ask me why im always banging on about baa baa black sheep its about this really, using extreme fringe very silly misapplications of a perfectly sensible position to tar the critique wholesale.

this person done this stupid thing under this flag therefore everyone who sails under that flag is stupid and should be disregarded

Yeah, and my point, if you'd actually bother to read it, is that when the tinfoil brigade goes off on one about Big Pharma it's usually over imaginary cancer cures, or the anti-vaxx superstition, while genuine scandals such as the opioid epidemic tend to get ignored.

But by all means, pretend I wrote "the pharmaceutical industry is 100% benign" if that suits you.

You're so, so close to getting it.

My actual position is that promoting or tolerating what you call the extreme, silly fringe is exactly what makes it possible, or at least easier, for the genuine conspiracies to be perpetrated. So I have no idea why you think I'm saying anything should be "disregarded" when I've given an example of a real-life, and very harmful, pharmaceutical conspiracy just a few posts ago.

So it's entirely right to criticise the "silly" stuff, both for this reason and because it has real-life consequences on its own, like unvaccinated kids dying of preventable diseases.

We're trapped inside going fucking mental. More and more shops shutting on my street, more and more of my friends regressing into the most monosyllabic of conversational methods. When they say "come out and play" in April (if they do) they will open up the doors and everyone will be dead.

It really feels dark here now... all novelty, excitement, rule-breaking naughtiness etc has just been ground out of everyone and they are just sitting alone at home in a silence broken only occasionally by sad whimpering.

Sometimes you message someone or whatever and say "How are you?" and they "Bored and shit, you?" and you have to reply "Same really" and that's pretty much the end of the conversation.

How do you find getting out with the camera @IdleRich ? The locations you profile have a touch of the uncanny about them. Abandoned, vandalised, left to decay. Poignant too because I would never have seen them if there wasn’t a roving eye on the ground

That could be a more direct route through to pushing forwards to spring - getting out when you can, having a loose plan that you can improvise with and a shutter-reel full to dissect when you get back in

My wife has started baking breads and tbh it’s been horrendous but I still have to say mmmm rather than hmmmm and better than the last one. 50% of it feeds the birds (ssssshhhhh)

I enjoy that kinda stuff sure. I mean I'm no photographer at all (obviously) just using my phone but those places I've been taking pictures of - maybe I'm drawn to them for that reason - are pretty much empty all the time, so they're not really affected by the lockdown.
But I am moaning too much, you can always get out for something when you totally crack up, take the girlfriend for a jog or meet with a friend who has to walk their dog or whatever, just brazen it out and look as though you're going somewhere important.

i think anything you do to try and make it better is going to seem tragic and desultory unless its something youve long dreamed of doing and endlessly deferred, like 'writing your novel' or whatever
