this is a massive thing isnt it. its also partly that wetherspoons are the only pubs that dont have a de facto social segregation policy.the Rochester is the only one where people aren't scared of strangers
But I thought that that demographic hates Wetherspoons because all the proles and because of the furlough thing.stoke newington is also an upper middle class stronghold and loads of media people live there so there's every chance the guardian will pick the story up. its wetherspoons oldest surviving pub too.
